Velp has standardized its galvanized chain link fence range against ASTM E2016, giving North American and international buyers a documented basis for wire diameter, zinc coating and mesh size. The range covers garden cyclone panels, 8 gauge chain link rolls and vinyl coated systems in green, black and grey.
Chain link remains the most economical way to enclose large areas, but performance depends on zinc coating weight. Velp specifies coating class per application and reports coating mass in the inspection record, so buyers can compare offers on a like-for-like basis instead of on price per roll alone.

For dry inland sites, a 40-60 g/sqm zinc coating is adequate. Coastal, industrial or high humidity installations should move to 240-290 g/sqm, or to vinyl coated mesh where appearance and touch safety matter. Velp can supply a complete bill of materials - mesh, posts, rails, fittings and gates - so contractors avoid mismatched hardware on site.
Rolls are packed upright on pallets with steel strapping, and 40-foot containers typically carry 20-25 tonnes depending on height and coating class.
